Dryer Lint? Seriously? Yes!  Dryer lint is one of those things that we all have but none of us knows what to do with it. Believe it or not there are actually several things you can do with dryer lint. When saving dryer lint it is best to keep it in a fireproof container such as glass or metal because dryer lint is very flammable. Check out these uses for dryer lint, and you may think twice about tossing it into the garbage can.

Make Fire Starters
Dryer lint is very flammable stuff, so use it to make your own fire starters.

Make Paper
Save up your dryer lint. Then, use it to make beautiful, handmade paper for your cardmaking and scrapbooking projects:

Use It as Pet Bedding
Have a pet hamster, gerbil, guinea pig or rat? Take all that lint that you pull out of the lint trap, and deposit it in their cage. They'll be thrilled to have it as bedding material and give them extra warmth.

Use it for bird nesting
Help your neighborhood birds build their nests. Just place clumps of dryer lint out on your lawn and watch in amazement as the local birds scoop up this premium nesting material.

I imagine there a many more ways to use dryer lint, Do you have any other creative uses for dryer lint? Let us all know in the comments below!
